ACCESSIBLE COMMUNITIE


We aim to make our communities accessible to and inclusive of disabled people. We work with local councils on issues impacting on the lives of all disabled people, and we have particular expertise in access to the built environment - making public and private buildings, homes, amenities and walkways and streets more accessible for everybody.

We aim to make all journeys accessible, through improvements to both the built environment and the public transport system.

Mobility Parking
We administer the Mobility Parking Scheme. People with limited mobility can access their communities more easily by acquiring a permit that allows them to use designated parking spaces.
