We believe that all children should have the opportunity to develop to their full potential.
Children with disabilities have the same rights and entitlements as all children, and they should be supported to participate and to be included within their local communities.
Families set their own goals
We work with families and whanau so that their children are fully included at home, in their community and in the early childhood centre of their choice. The service is flexible and adaptable to meet families’ differing circumstances. We are at all times respectful toward family and whanau needs and do reviews to confirm we are all working together towards agreed goals.
Home based services
Parents are their children’s first teachers. We teach and empower parents so that their child is able to maximise their abilities. Our early intervention services offer the skills, knowledge, support and advice of a range of therapists who work together as a team offering therapy and developmental support. We can work with other agencies so that families and whanau have the best possible opportunities to access all the expertise, resources and supports available in the region.
