Receptionist and Administration Support - Wellington

CCS Disability Action is a community organisation that has provided support for disabled people and their families for over 80 years, ensuring that disabled people have a positive life and are connected to their local communities. We are a values-based, flexible and people friendly organisation.

We are looking for a Receptionist and Administration Support to join our team at National Office in Wellington. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

Our National Office supports the work of our 18 branches across the country.  Due to a promotion we are looking for someone who can be our new front desk superstar.

The successful applicant will have:
•    Proven competency with computers including excellent ability in Microsoft Office products, email and internet
•    Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and listening communication skills.
•    An excellent telephone manner
•    The ability to work well as part of a team or individually.
•    Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
•    An ability to work independently when required.
•    Initiative
•    Lived experience of disability or work experience in the disability sector.

Community Support Worker Putaruru

Do you have energy, vision, strong belief in people with impairments being fully involved in our community, and a passion for working alongside people?

Then you need to consider the following vacancy!

We are seeking a Community Support Worker in Putaruru for 10hrs per week divided over three days.

If you can work independently, have good communication skills, are reliable, honest and would enjoy supporting people to be independent in their community, we’d like to hear from you.

Ongoing training as well as group, peer and individual support will be provided.

Community Support Workers require the following:

Key responsibilities include:
•    Personal cares
•    Household management
•    Community Support

Shifts are varied – including housework and personal cares, with possible weekend and evening work required – you will need to have your own vehicle and full licence.

Office Support- Administrator/Receptionist/Community Support Worker

(Minimum guaranteed hours - 20 hours per week, up to a maximum of 30 hours per week)

North Taranaki Branch

CCS Disability Action is a community organisation who has provided support for disabled people and their families for over 80 years, ensuring that disabled people have a positive life and are connected to their local communities.

We are looking for a person to not only support our Administration team, but also our Community Support team in North Taranaki. This is a dual-role, permanent, part-time, minimum guaranteed hour’s position.

We are looking for people who:

•    Can provide excellent administration support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our branches

•    Have excellent and proficient office and computer skills

•    Are organised and able to self-manage and hold good time management skills

•    Love working with others to help them achieve their goals

•    Have strong connections to the community

•    Are team players but can work independently

•    Have a full driver’s licence, have own transport and a clean police record

Preference will be given to applicants who have relevant experience working in reception/administration roles and/or within the disability sector.  Consideration will be given to people who can demonstrate the ability to learn new skills.
