Location: Auckland; in the community – North Shore, South, West and Central Auckland

Hours: Permanent Part Time and Full Time positions available

Job specific information

The Community Support Worker a member of the Youth Development Adult Team of CCS Disability Action Northern region, has the responsibility to work in partnership with individuals and their families to develop and implement a range of flexible community options which enable them to remain strong and connected to their family and community. 

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You are energetic, enthusiastic and have a passion for enabling others to lead good lives.
  • You’re committed to working with youth and adults with disabilities to live in their own home and support quality living in their community.
  • Enjoy supporting young people and their family / whanau to enable a valued life in the community and provide participation in a range of community activities.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in the Disability Sector.
  • Are able to work varied shifts.
  • Have some experience with personal care support, hoist transfers.
  • Have access reliable transport options.
  • Access to the use of a smart phone to be used for work purposes.
