Community Support Worker

Job specific information

We are looking for Community Support Workers to work with people with disabilities and their families we support at our Respite House and in the community. The support that you will be required to provide will vary. Some of the work will be physical.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • Are energetic, enthusiastic and have a passion for enabling others to lead good lives.

  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in the Disability Sector.

  • Have a Health Care Assistant Qualification or a Level 2 equivalent.

  • Have had experience working with people with high and complex support needs.

  • Confident in working with mobility equipment, e.g.. hoists, wheelchairs, modified vehicles.

  • Are able to work varied shifts (weekend and holiday cover i.e. school and summer holidays).
