Job specific information

This role offers you an exciting opportunity to use your skills, knowledge and team leadership skills within the Central Region. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our work undertaken with disabled people, their family/whanau, and our related community partners, is of high quality and that the service provided is flexible and responsive to the needs of disabled people, whanau and community.

It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following personal skills and attributes, and professional skills and knowledge.    

  • Experience in a Service Delivery Organisation as well as excellent knowledge of the Disability Sector
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to apply this well within diverse teams
  • Excellent networking skills as well as strong connections to the community
  • Knowledge and understanding of what is happening through the Transformation of Support Services
  • A strong commitment to providing quality support and outcomes for disabled people.
