Capturing our History
The Wellington Branch of CCS Disability Action had a very close relationship with Rotary and the formation of the Crippled Children Society; in fact Sir Alexander Gillies' wife is their Patron.
When the Organisation’s 80 year anniversary was celebrated in 2015, Wellington branch governance suggested a project to capture these historic stories while they were still available in living memory.
Along with photo resources, newspaper clippings and memorabilia, these videos shot by Jack O’Donnell, now act as an archive, preserved for their historical value for all to enjoy.
