Gatherings for family and caregivers with disabled children

Join us to learn how the Enabling Good Lives (EGL) principles can support you as a parent or caregiver of a disabled children to have greater choice and control over your life.

We will explore how EGL can strengthen your voice and explore better and more flexible ways of thinking and working together, so you can support your child in a way that works for you.

This is one in a series of gatherings for family of disabled people in Blenheim. ‘Tēnei au. This is me, here I am’ is a way for communities to lead the changes they want to see.

The event will be followed by a community forum for disabled people, whānau and community agencies.

Come together as a community to explore the ways you can make the most of the opportunities that the EGL principles and approach offer.
