Information for people we support
February 2022
As Omicron spreads through our communities, service providers like CCS Disability Action need to prepare themselves to ensure they are keeping you, your whānau and their staff as safe as possible when providing in-home support.
This includes our staff wearing medical-grade masks, asking some questions about COVID before we come to visit you and planning for potential staff shortages if people get sick or are forced to isolate.
We have prepared a letter currently being sent to all the people we support to explain these things. This letter is available as both a Word and an Easy Read document. You can find a copy in the resources section of this page.
Please be assured that plans are in place to ensure essential support will not be disrupted.
Let’s stay in touch and keep informed. Stay safe and well everyone.
If you are supported by us and have any questions, reach out to your Coordinator, or contact your local branch.
