Invercargill toy library

About our library

Our Don Street toy library provides toys and educational play for all children.

We’re a lending library, equipped with large and small toys, puzzles, games and musical instruments to enhance social, physical and intellectual development.

We operate like a public library, offering everything from train sets to dolls houses, to outdoor and sport equipment, and water play.

You can renew each toy once simply by telephone or in person. There is an overdue fee per toy of $2 per days the toy library is open.

If you are interested, please ask us about our party packs and room hire.

Why join a toy library?

Toy libraries are a great, budget friendly, and environmentally sustainable way to keep children entertained.

The best thing about joining our library; you can get access to a huge number of toys, games and puzzles without the enormous cost of buying them.

And when tamariki get tired of toys, our members simply take theirs back to the library and get new ones!
